Ainsworth Game Technology Limited

Ainsworth Game Technology a leading-edge designer of innovative gaming machines and related technology, held a ground breaking ceremony on Friday Oct 3, 2014 in Las Vegas Nevada to unveil the company’s new 290,000+ square foot headquarters for the Americas. The state of the art new facility will be located in what has been called the “Gaming Manufacturers corridor” a few minutes from the Las Vegas strip on Sunset Road near the Jones exit on 215 West. Construction will commence in early 2015 with estimated completion to occur in the first half of 2016.

The ground breaking event marked a very monumental day for Ainsworth Game Technology, and demonstrated the company’s commitment to its continued growth in The North American market. Staff and management joined Ainsworth executives including founder Len Ainsworth, CEO Danny Gladstone, President of North America Mike Dreitzer, President of Ainsworth Latin America Miguel Cuadros and other Company executives. State and local dignitaries that attended and provided comments at the event included Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, Nevada Congressman Joe Heck, Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, representatives from the offices of Nevada Senator’s Harry Reid and Dean Heller, Don Snyder President of the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), and several other Gaming industry leaders.

Mike Dreitzer, President for Ainsworth North America, commented: “This is a very exciting time in the history of our company. Ainsworth Game Technology is continuing to see real growth in North America. This new facility will solidify the Company’s commitment to these critical markets as we continue to find more and more ways to effectively serve our customers in the region”.

Miguel Cuadros, President of Ainsworth Latin America, added: “We are pleased to be able to develop this new facility for the Americas. Ainsworth is confident that in doing so we will be well positioned to service the fast growing demand for our product in Latin America.”

Immediately following the ground breaking ceremony, attendees were invited to join Ainsworth management and staff for a cocktail reception and showroom tour conducted at the existing North American headquarters. As an appropriate end to this important day in the history of the company, its Founder Len Ainsworth was interviewed for the “Conversations on Leadership” series at UNLV by faculty of the William F. Harris College of Hotel Adminstration where he shared his thoughts on business and the gaming industry with over 300 students and the Las Vegas media.
